About Us
Award-Winning Red Deer Home Renovation Experts
How we got started in home building and renovations.
As Central Alberta’s leading home renovation experts, our team has built a reputation for excellence since 2004. From design to completion, we transform homeowners visions from concept to completion with unmatched craftsmanship.
Brent Purdie, owner of Homestead Custom Carpentry, with his warm, genuine personality is a long standing member of the Red Deer city and community, a respected and local Red Deer home builder and home renovation experts, and a skilled tradesman.
In 2002, he decided to take his background in agriculture in a new direction, and switch gears to join the construction and builder trade. As it turns out, the skills developed in agriculture—precision, project management, problem-solving—translated perfectly into the world of home construction and renovation. Over the years, Brent and the Homestead team have completed a wide range of projects, from custom-built homes and full home renovations to kitchen remodels, basement developments, and luxury home upgrades.
